Support DWI reform in New York

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) needs your help to advance four DWI reform measures in New York. 

Why does MADD need your help? From 2019 to 2021, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), drunk driving deaths increased from 256 to 388—an 52% increase!

Help us support: 

  • S 776 by Senator Liu and A 1627 by Assemblywoman Simon would make New York the second state with a .05 BAC per se law. 
  • S 775 by Senator Cooney and A 4171 by Assemblywoman Woerner fixing the ignition interlock law. 
  • A 174 by Assemblyman Magnarelli and S 3135 by Senator Mannion improving the drug-impaired driving law. 
  • A 1776 by Assemblyman Meeks and S 2572 by Senator Gounardes to require impaired drivers to pay child support when an impaired driver causes a crash that kills a parent or guardian.
