MADD recently graded each state ignition interlock law and made recommendations on actions lawmakers can take to strengthen their laws. The average state grade is F, so most states have a long way to go to maximize the use of these devices for convicted drunk drivers.
Please email your lawmakers using this page to encourage their support of improving your state’s interlock law.

Can you imagine how many more attempts to drive drunk would be prevented and lives saved if lawmakers enact even more effective interlock laws?
